It was a memorable lunch at Tablao. Its on my first visit to US and that was my first lunch with my team. Initially we had some other choice and finally we decided to try Spanish food.We 8 people visited there. Good interior design, I liked it. Since it was my first restaurant visit in NY city-I didn’t know what to expect. Also I have never tasted Spanish before. So My friends ordered dishes for me.I dont remember the name of the dishes. But all of them tasted really good. Octopus dish was the best.Clams, mussels, shrimp were good too.Since this is my first Spanish try – I am not comparing with others.Memorably lunch with my team.
Decided to try a new place not far from the Financial District and decided to give Tablao a look. All I’m going to say is the spicy octopus was better that what I have had at multiple places in Barcelona. We ordered about 6 different tapas for the two of us. The calamari was delicious and a much larger plate than expected for a tapa (never a bad thing). The red seasonal sangria with apples was key while enjoying the tapas out on the outdoor seating area. The staff was amazing in terms of service, recommendations, and just generally friendliness. If you live near NYC or are traveling on business, well worth the try.
Amazing service, flamenco, sangria, and delicious tapas. We’ve lived in the area for years and never noticed this restaurant for whatever reason. Our favorite tapas spots in the EV and LES have closed in the last few years and we have been tapas-less 🙁 moved to tears by the flamenco. Such a good night.
The Best Tapas in NYC. Fantastic place , great looking decor, nice modern feel, The tapas are outstanding we had 8 types of Tapas and all had a great flavor and taste. We will be back often.
