We only popped in for a mid afternoon snack. Service was efficient and room was pleasant but the food wasn’t very good.I had a starter of king prawns in chilli pommodoro sauce served with garlic bread. Prawns poached and drowned in commercially made sauce tasting of tinned tomatoes with some fresh chilli’s cooked in it. No discernible taste of garlic in the accompanying flat breads.My companion had giant meatballs. Meatballs were decent, being tender and flavoured with nutmeg but drowned in the same awful tomato sauce.I think I will stick to pizza in the future for high street Italian chains.
