It was great to see non-standard items on the menu in addition to typical favorites. So far everything has been done in their own style and was great..

Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The cheese wontons were the only thing that were good. The potstickers were mushy balls of disgust. The lo mein was overcooked and bloated as well as super bland. The sesame chicken was hands down the worst I've ever had. The meat was hard but the breading was soggy and the sauce was very watery and bland..

I hesitate to post a review because I haven't had anything off their menu- just the dragon grill! I've set my mind a few times but every time we go, I go for the grill because it's just so good. The price is good especially for all the different options they have and I basically have to roll out of there every time. But be warned: Friday and Saturday nights can get real busy! I recommend going on a weeknight so you can take your sweet time eating bowl after bowl..

One of the best restaurants in SLC! I've been going here for around 15 years and love the food and staff. Just get the dragon grill, it is basically Mongolian BBQ with good quality ingredients. If you've never been here before, give them your business, you won't be disappointed!.

Meh. I got the Dragon Grill....It was ok. After reading the praise I expected more. The lo mein noodles were mushy and soggy,. I couldn't eat them so I picked the meat and veggies out. The chicken got undercooked. Most of the veggies were fresh, but others obviously from a can. I might give it another chance in the future unless I find a better Mongolian Wok joint. I'm always a little suspicious of an Asian restaurant that has all Caucasian servers anyway..

Forget the menu-- learn the Dragon Grill. We have been dining at Charlie Chow's for 14 years an average of twice a month and forgot long ago that Charlie's has a menu of dishes prepared by chefs--we only order the Dragon Grill (DIY Mongolian BBQ). Here are some tips to mastering your own dish-- go light on the noodles, resist the urge to blend too many sauces when you reach the end of the ingredients bar, but be sure to add about four ladles of whatever sauces you choose--your food will be too bland without it. If you like spice and want a recommendation, a dollop of hoisin sauce and another of chili paste plus two more ladles of your preferred flavor (and there are many to choose from) will please you, if you like your BBQ spicy. Such great flavor. Our other favorite here is the hot and sour soup. No restaurant in town can keep up with the hot and sour at Charlie's. And do get to know the servers-- friendly and efficient and each with a long history of working at this unique restaurant, they will make you feel like family..

Great Lunch Spot. Quick service and friendly staff make this one of my coworkers and my favorite lunch spot. The noodle dishes and dumplings are my favorite. If we have more time we will get the Dragon Grill. Very fresh ingredients..

Overpriced. Okay selection, but nothing any of our party got was especially flavorful..

Delicious!. I've only had the Dragon Grill, but I have been delighted by their selection in their dragon grill (like a mongolian bbq). I love the selection of vegetables, sauces, and noodles. They have chicken, beef, and pork for lunch and they add shrimp and scallops for dinner. You can also make your dish into lettuce wraps! I love doing a traditional lo mein dish or doing a peanut curry dish. It's fun to experiment! You create your own experience :).

Full of Flavor. I absolutely love the Szechuan Eggplant. I wish I lived closer. You can find something for everyone including Grandma at Charlie Chow's. It's kind of heavy food... but that's nothing new... it's they way they cook chinese food... love it in moderation. : ).
