They have a nice bar that’s about it. Management is awful. There’s nothing great about this place and their pretentiousness down to their menu. Their Cesar salad is dry, didn’t even eat it. The regulars that come here are just as bad. Avoid this establishment at all costs if you’re in this area, there’s way better places to eat than this place.
Amazing food! The pastas are great and the environment is cosy and inviting. The MacSides are great, but with a lot of cheese so I recommend this for cheese lovers (otherwise it may be too cheesy) but they are very good!!
I called to make a booking for Sunday brunch, the machine said that it’s a first come first serve situation. However, when we got there the hostess said there is a waitlist. so keep in mind you might wait for half an hour, she sat 2 other parties before us, ever though we were there first.Our waiter was nice, we ordered the burger Spring roles (7.5), truffle fires (8.0), avocado toast without the eggs (3.0), and the brioche french toast (3.0) (not a big fan of french toast so can’t really judge.
We came at 6:30 without reservation and they still managed to find us a table. Though the location of the table wasn’t a great one (overlooked garbage placed outside) the mac and cheese managed to make us forget about it! It was heavenly. Too bad the servers weren’t that responsive and we had to ask for the bill 3 times. We took the original and the 4 cheese mac’n’cheese
Met up at Delicatessen with a friend for my bday celebration! We both had the burger and it was very good! Unfortunately there are not that many GF options and a bunless hamburger is always a good option. A Blight on the Neighborhood. This one restaurant has single-handedly ruined a very nice old neighborhood in New York’s Nolita area. The booming music is inescapable. They have doors that completely open the entire restaurant to the outside (I mean there are no walls at all) and during the Spring and Fall and all Summer the music comes out on to the street without anything to stop it. Of course there is the noise of the people dining, but that is nothing compared to the music. The twenty something manager just looks at you as if you are crazy if you go over there after 10pm and ask her to turn it down. The menu is perfect for the kind of place it is. It is basically expensive junk food.
Dinner on 12/27. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good although award winning sandwich was good not great, definitely will go back
