I went to Emporio for a birthday dinner and had a good time and food there. I think it’s a nice place for group dinners, with a spacious room in the back. The pizzas were good and so were the appetizers.

In Little Italy you can have good restaurants but are for tourists and crowded. If you really want the real deal must go to adjacent NOLA area which is used by locals and foodies looking for nice italian foodEverything we ask for was cook to perfection. Excellent quality of food and presentation. Nice italian wine list, great serving timing of meals and very pleasant servers and waiters….Reservations recommendedA night to remember…we will return for sure!! Thanks Emporio

Best pizza ever! I ate pizzas everywhere in the world, in China, Italy, California and Nevada, Germany and France, Turkey and Taiwan. And Emporio has best pizza in the world. I personally suggest you simple Prosciutto & Arugola pizza with glass or two of white wine.Excellent location, reasonable pricing, and great, great atmosphere, with crowded long tables, nice music and waiters doing their job perfectly and friendly. What is really nice, they serve their giant pizzas on something what looks like huge trashcan lid. I will definitely come back one day to have this epic pizza again. haasanki.blogspot.com

Fabulous meal, ambiance and service! Incredible gazpacho and even more spectacular Ravioli! We were referred here by friends while in NYC and we’ll be telling others!

Awesome Dinner. Great restaurant. My wife both had the specials, she had lemon risotto, and I had a rib eye pork chop. Both were absolutely fantastic as was the house Chianti. Note, happy hour wine prices are not honored in the dining room. We would definitely go back.

I’d recommend this place to anyone! The minestrone was excellent – all ingredients tasted so fresh. The only pizza I’ve had better was in Pisa… c’mon!

Great atmosphere. Warning: We went for happy hour (at bar) during a visit to NYC, not for a table dinner. BUT we really regretted not eating there! (already had reservations at another place) The menu was loaded with awesome-sounding plates featuring truly unique ingredient combos, and the prices were GOOD. Pastas are made in house – big plus! By the looks (and smells) of food on the packed tables throughout the restaurant, this place is understandably popular. The happy hour had reasonable prices (4.50 tax included for an excellent red wine, and can’t-remember-but-decent-priced beer), pleasant free nibblies and very pleasant bar staff. Such a cool-looking and cozy place, too. Next time in NYC we’ll absolutely order off that menu!
