it’s hot out. find a cool spot somewhere- sit and relax. thanks ali for the great rec- absolutely hit the spot! i ordered an iced cranberry acai tea and the apple and arugula salad. the catch? my salad had no apples…?! stumped me. however the cheese and added avocado made up for it. sanctuary t is a nice spot for a work lunch or light bite. soho has minimal prime spots like this, so make your way here when you’re in the area
Modern yet Quaint. This cute lunch spot is unique, with an assortment of teas to choose from, along with delicious options (BREAKFAST ALL DAY!) Right off of Broadway in the heart of Soho–Sanctuary T is a nice escape to grab a bite. The service was a bit poor when I went, but the Peach and Blueberry Cobbler brightened my outlook on my overall experience.
-The waiter was incredibly accommodating (would not rest till he found something for my ber picky 5yr old). -Great atmosphere, if a little cramped. -Delicious food and great prices.Will return!
Tea is Delightful Food is OK. Maybe I came on an off day but my gnocci just was not very good. The tea was excellent but again the food just didn’t move me to speak highly.
My new favorite spot!. Came here for lunch and had a great time! (Even snuck in a green tea margarita!!) The Sanctuary Salad is amazing and quite filling. The staff was pleasent and attentive and the entire atmosphere was very relaxing. This is my new weekday lunchtime sanctuary.
My 5 year old would have given better food service – sorry folks, this place was a disappointment for courtesy, attitude & certainly delivery – of few cocktails, and a plate of freaking bread!
Eat here. There’s a bunch of cute cafes on top of each other on Broadway. I stopped in to Sanctuary T. What you’e reading comes from a black coffee for breakfast & steak for dinner kind of guy. ST is really peaceful. I ate lunch and worked on my laptop (free wifi) for almost 3 hours. The service is extremely accomodating and very friendly. I had a black bourbon-vanilla tea and probably had 5 cups. In a word, delicious. Everything here is infused with tea. But don’t think grainy, taste richness. I had the cheeseburger. It comes with a side salad. Great dressing to compliment the burger. Although over cooked, the burger was juicy and I didn’t need a nap afterwards. You can come here with coworkers, a date, or my fav: laptop.
