Eggs are my favorite food, and this place does it all kinds of justice with the way they treat them. Ive been here twice already, and both times did not disappoint. I got the spandex the first time, and cracking open that yolk all over the quinoa and greens made everything oh so right. My second round here was for happy hour and my goodness that spicy margarita is indeed spicy! We settled on a BEC burger each and I am sure you heard a gasp of resounding joy as I sliced into that yolk, blessing my burger with its creamy goodness. The fries are cooked to a perfect crisp with a soft tenderness as you bite. Dip it into the garlic alioli and change your frown into a smile. We shared the fried chicken both times we were here and thanked the gods for the fine work the kitchen does on everything that came plated to our table. Eat here. Its great. Its a nice respite from the crowds where you can have a well made meal topped with an egg served with a side of eargasm by way of The Tribe Called Quest and the like. Youll walk out of the restaurant blessed with that post good egg glow.

Great spot for breakfast. The egg bowls or sandwiches are both great. I had the bowl and it was tasty till the last bite. The only problem is it is very crowded. But it is worth it. I highly recommend it!

Oh for the love of eggs!Sarah Schneider and Demetri Makoulis have created an egg-centric (lol get it?) destination in Nolita which pays homage to the magic of eggs. The Egg Shop is simply dressed and can squeeze in a couple dozen people but expect a wait at peak times. All the ingredients used at the Egg Shop are locally sourced and organic. Chef Nick Korbee formerly of Smith & Mills offers a menu that allows you to pick from creative sandwiches, to cruisers where the dish is served in a bowl. He also has a custom egg & cheese section where you can make your own sandwiches.Nothing about the menu at the Egg Shop is run of the mill. Sandwiches range from Egg shop B.E.C which is made with a broke yolk, shelburne cheddar, black forest bacon, tomato jam, fresh pickled jalapeo, panini roll whilst a Cruiser might entail digging into a Spandex which is made with poached egg, miso quinoa, farm greens, avocado, pickled carrotI like that the portions at the Egg Shop are conscious. Each dish is just about the right amount of food and not a decadent, oversized plate that is hard to get through. Everything at the Egg Shop is thoughtful, fresh and really tasty. They have a knockout staff who are super friendly. They also have beer, wine, and cocktails. The Egg Shop is open pretty much from 8:00 AM Midnight. Thanks to the Egg Shop breakfast is now an anytime meal. therestaurantfairy.com

What an adorable delicious place! The espresso was probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The dishes come out colorful and beautiful and the eggs are just how one might hope they’d be at a place w/it in the name. The scramble was fluffy and creamy and may I say very filling. The hash browns are served in an almost croquette kind of way w/ a little spice. I found the staff to be very pleasant.

The name says it all, it’s specialty is combining eggs within their dishes… Allergic or dislike eggs in general? Stay away! These guys have their eggs in the basket! Passed by, saw the name was interesting and thought maybe it’s a shop that sold different artwork styles of eggs (ornaments or decorations), but to our surprise it was a restaurant! Feeling a little hungry we decided to grab a bite. Wow, their eggs were really creamy and delicious! Their combinations of creamy scrambled eggs with mustard, buttermilk, toast and chicken salad was amazing! Definitely worth a try when you’re around the area!

The Egg Shop was recommended to me by a friend. We went on a Thursday morning and we waited around 45 minutes for a table at the bar. We ordered iced coffee which was served in a bar style glass. I ordered egg shop b.e.c and my boyfriend ordered the el Camino. We also got a side of hash browns. Let me just say these hashbrown Were so good. They had a kick. The b.e.c was huge and it tasted so good. It was a bit spicy too from the pickled jalapeo. The el Camino was great and did not disappoint either. The pulled pork with egg and avocado was a good combination. Overall felt that it was worth the wait and will definitely go back.
