We visited this place a few days back for lunch. The food is average, too much sweetness in chicken gravy. Nothing much to boast about, most from our group ate very little. The owner is quite rude to Indians which is surprising as he himself is an indian. The staff is also impolite at times. Not a great experience, would never recommend this place to anyone. Taste is 2/5Ambience 2/5Service 0/5
Shittiest place ever… Even a single star is excess for this stupid restaurant… Food tastes as if a rookie has made mess out of shit… Stale… Hard rotis… They can be used for playing sport… To top it all they add their own f’ing tips to the bill..check out the pic here… They were empty when we entered and remained empty … I guess they barely have 2-3 guests a day… Ha ha .. what a joke of a place..
Not very impressed with the lunch spread at this place, although I must admit that dal maakhani and chicken was good. They had a separate lunch buffet for walk in customers which had more variety than the one that was laid out for us. We expect naan/ roti at an Indian restaurant but instead we got thick undercooked puris. And ragda patties which were half decent. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place
So for the second day of my NY tour our travel agency took us to this place for dinner. The buffet had very few items and most of them tasted bland. Their dal however turned out to be good and so was their dessert named sheera.
I really felt like am in India. Ambience perfectly matched with theme. There are couple of outdoor tables, i liked it.Well in NY any Indian food looks like delightful, but it tasted as well the same. We were there for a lunch buffet. Even though we couldn’t find many varieties in it, but was tasty enough.Keep it up and try including more dishes if possible .
The ISS students from Oman, enjoyed ambience, seating……the spread out of food, range of Indian ethnic food, authentic taste …….all with in a budget…..wow !!!Kids wowed it !! Excellent service staff …
Was there in new york and visited this place for a breakfast while leaving for Washington. The place had typical indian touch to it . The breakfast was routine but the service was good and a very nicely maintained place. Couldn’t get to taste much of their main stream menu but would definitely do once i get back to new york again.
