I discovered Mile End thanks to their poutine week taking over my Instagram feed. I’ve been longing for a good poutine ever since I visited Toronto. MILE END DID NOT DISAPPOINT. First off their staff was so friendly and the place was adorable. They had five special poutine a severed this week that all looked and sounded amazing. Picking just one was almost impossible. I ended up starting at the top with the philly cheese stake option. I was sold after just one bite! I’m hoping to make another trip back before Poutine Week is over!

Good tasty creative and plentiful sandwiches at this pleasant welcoming new Village sandwich shop. The chicken salad was outstanding and piled high on fresh challah bread.Biggest drawback is lack of stools. You gotta just stand up or lean over the counter or take sandwich out to eat. When I inquired about it, I was told that they have uickly realized that this is a shortcoming, and stools have been ordered.
