Cata is a Spanish tapas style restaurant. The ambience is interesting. The food is tasty. The location is nice. But I found the service too mechanical and a bit unfriendly. The price is a bit high as well. Worth trying one time.
Cata serves up decent representations of tapas classics, and is good spanish cuisine in NYC. I went with the Gin & Tonic around my tapas as that seemed to be the drink of choice. Good for dates and couples, and fun overall
