Diwan-E-Khaas is a small food joint in the lower Manhattan serving Indian food. This joint has around four to five tables inside and one needs to stand in a line to order their food. Many of the orders I observed are to-go’s as there is a space constraint.They have some entrees on their menu, but it’s the special box (lunch/dinner) that many people order over here. There’s a choice to select either 2,3 or 4 entrees (vegetarian/Chicken/Sea food) and a side dish of rice or naan and the price varies with number of entrees. I had their chicken and shrimp, but none of those seem good for me. They are just about average and the spice levels are way too low.Can try if you are not a fond of spicy food, but personally I won’t recommend.*bon apptit*

With curries we got rice/naan. Rice quantity was damn less and we got only one naan. For the extra naan they almost charged extra meal amount.

The best value lunch in the neighborhood. Generous portions, well seasoned, and not greasy. Fast in and out.
This place is absolutely delicious. Full vegan & meat for carnivores as well. I recommend the vegetable korma over rice and the naan is great. Plus cheap!!
