Food taste is good. I love the lamb curry with naan.I tried the rice with sides, I would say okay not that bad.But the place is little cramped and I dont like to dine in.
Unassuming hole-in-the-wall on a not-so-hip block. The dal is especially bright, hearty, and satisfying. Bangladeshi cuisine is subtly different than some Indian food and here you can enjoy super cheap, delicious renditions of local home-cooked favorites ($6 for veg platter, $8 for fish platter). The chef sits near the window and tells great stories when not in the kitchen.
The food tastes decent… But… The tandoor chicken is on a plate behind glass, room temperature…so when you order, they microwave it on a styrofoam plate. Yuck. On the bright side, still tasted good and was moist. The place is a typical NYC hole in the wall, just a little seating, etc. There was a billing issue since credit cards were involved, so do your math in your head…
