Poor Customer Service, can spend my money elsewhere. I have had a good experience here, but today’s poor one makes me certain I will never return. I spontaneously met a friend there, ordered a tea, and sat down. My friend had brought in a drink from another store, as our meeting was unplanned. When the staff woman brought me my drink, she then proceeded to tell my friend that she could not bring in an outside drink and use the wifi here, and the woman proceeded to use poor language and express herself in a very rude manner. I understand this may be a store policy, but she certainly did not conduct herself in a professional manner. We left immediately; I can overpay for a hot tea somewhere else, where courtesy is valued.

Impressed.. Please don’t bypass this place for the starbucks visible from the window. Knowledgable baristas. Good atmosphere. They know what they are doing in here – milk is well-steamed, multiple coffees available for french press, pour-over, or even siphon. My barista was able to discuss issues in the purchasing of green coffee beans: how to recognize defects, etc. These folks really know what they are doing. And the prices are great to boot.
Worth the drive from wherever you are. I’m not a coffee snob…but I appreciate a well crafted latte and will bypass more convenient locations to purchase a divine cup of coffee. I pass 2 independent coffee houses and 2 Starbucks..(not counting the ones located in the Target and Kroger stores)..to come here. Divine
Finally. It’s nice to have a specialty coffee place in the suburbs. For those that don’t like the mass produced Starbucks over-roasted style, this is a very nice alternative. The coffees are unique and locally roasted which is a plus.The only ding I’ll give the place is the baristas aren’t the most customer service oriented and frequently can’t describe the coffees for that day.
