Campus treat. A strong contender for best food on University of Utah campus based on three dishes on our first visit: roast veggie tartine, bacon/lettuce/avacodo/tomato sandwich, and a lovely spring pea soup. Served with nice mixed greens and excellent house made artisan bread. People at next tables had substantial looking burgers and ramen bowls. Only disappointment were slightly tired potatoes brava. Menu not extensive but looks like there are daily specials. Obliging staff. . Update: Ramen bowls on Thursday very tasty. This is in newish Sorenson Biomolecular Bldg....the USTAR building east of Merrill Engr and NE of Alumni House, a five minute walk from Union. Cafe is on north side, an airy room with window walls and adjacent outside seating..
