Wired Walrus Euro Cafe

Great cafe. I went in today after walking past it several times working nearby. The decor is pleasing and not over the top. For it being Euro, I expected house music to be pumping. I was wrong, it was a nice mix of 80's and 70's when I was there. The espresso is tamped by hand and shots are drawn nicely where the crema is rich. The foam was excellent with it being dense on top of my cappucino. In a world where automatic quick drinks are everywhere, it is nice to find a place that still works with the art of espresso and foam, you can always taste the difference, this is defenitaly not starbucks! Pastries and breakfast is delicious, try the fried egg bagel with spinach! I had a favorite breakfast/cafe place to go to in Texas, now I have one in Salt Lake..

Best bakery in town! Everything was super fresh and so good. The girls working the coffee bar were so fun and nice. Such a beautiful space too! I think I found my new coffee shop!.

Good atmosphere, overpriced food and slow service. From the marketing on the web site, the banner on the restaurant, and the title you would think this would be great option for lunch. Their website marketed sandwiches, soups, salads and your typical cafe fair. But for being called a "Euro Cafe" this was anything but what you would expected. Instead of sandwiches and soups we were greeting with overpriced burgers and entree's, starting at $14. While the food was good, it definitely wasn't good enough to justify the price. In addition the service was extremely slow. When the office only gives you an hour lunch break, you don't want your lunch to take an hour and forty minutes from the time you sat down. In addition we were told our meal would come with dessert which they seemed to have forgotten about. This might be a great fine dining choice for a nice dinner. The atmosphere was very nice. But for a lunch, until they can clean up their marketing and speed up their service, I would definitely recommend against it..
